Skills we hope you'll gain

• Learn about project management of software - how we decide what we will work on and when. Working within prioritization and constraints in a limited resource team.
• How to collaborate with multiple team members while working on a single application especially in regards to Pull Requests and Reviews
• Communication skills when problem-solving and how to document both the questions you have and completed work
• Software development process from pseudo coding to development to testing to deployment on larger features

What is Expected

• Daily Async Standup (M-Th)
• 30 Hours / Week Schedule
• Weekly 1-1 with Team Lead for 30 minutes
• Weekly Code Along (Cognitive Apprenticeship Session) with Team Lead for 1.5 - 2 hours
• End of Week Progress Report
• End of Fellowship Presentation

Day 1 - Read through the information provided in this Notion Guide. I want you to start familiarizing yourself with the tools we work with, how we contribute, and know what resources are available to you for when you are working on your first stories. We'll get to the coding soon enough 😉

10:00 - 11:00 AM - Welcome Call with Katelyn

11:00 - 12:00 PM - Read through documentation on Notion to start familiarizing yourself with where you will find things throughout your fellowship

12:00 - 1:00 PM - Lunch
